The Forgeois Group is revamping Café Noir in a new location, which will open in early 2014.

As many new restaurants are opening uptown and in other boroughs, owner Georges Forgeois remains committed to the downtown community and Café Noir's loyal clientele of 18 years by opening the new location just steps away from the old.

The cuisine at the new Café Noir will transition from the Spanish tapas style to what Georges Forgeois affectionately calls "Gastro Bites," which reflects his passion for local, organic and seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. A more sophisticated wine list and innovative mixology program will also be introduced.

This revamped Café Noir isn't a new concept, but a more polished version of the original. It's a Café Noir for the future.
